Austin Johnson

Austin Johnson is a senior from Coldwater High School and attends the Branch Area Careers Center’s Automotive Technology program. His On-The-Job-Training placement is an Automotive Technician with Cole Ford Lincoln under the supervision of Stephanie Leugers. Austin performs automotive repair and maintenance on vehicles to ensure the reliability and safety of the vehicles. Austin’s favorite part of his job is his work environment. He loves the people, the work area and the pride he has in his own work. His OJT placement has taught him professionalism and how to think about his actions and the consequences of those actions, even on the smallest repair jobs. Austin’s future plans are to continue his career with Ford. Ultimately, he would like to own and operate his own business in which he builds and restores custom vehicles.

At Coldwater High School, Austin is a member of the Varsity Bowling team. In his spare time, he enjoys automotive detailing as well as building vehicles. He enjoys going off-road driving and spending time with his friends. Austin is the son Bill Johnson and Catina Wrozek.
