Dreden Feltner

Dreden Feltner is a senior from Quincy High School and attends the Branch Area Careers Center’s Environmental & Agri-Science program. His On-The-Job-Training placement is a Soil Trainee with B&M Crop Consulting under the supervision of Bill and Missy Bauer. Dreden is responsible for soil sampling in the Fall and Spring seasons. He also assists with plot research including population counts and yields, harvesting, cleans and maintains the shop and equipment and takes soil samples to the lab. Dreden’s favorite part of his job is the hands-on training working side-by-side with some of the best people in the industry who treat him like family. He feels his OJT training has helped him understand the real world or work and develop a professional attitude at work. Dreden’s future plans are to continue working while pursuing a degree in business. Ultimately, he would like to obtain his umpire certification and hopefully become a professional umpire. At the BACC, Dreden earned his FFA Greenhand, Outstanding Junior, Chapter, and State degrees. In FFA, he competed in livestock judging, meats judging, broiler contest and attending the National Leadership Conference. In his spare time, he enjoys hunting, fishing, and working out. Dreden is the son of Chuck and Dusty Feltner.
