Elijah Quinn

Elijah Quinn is a Home Schooled Senior and a student in the Computer Networking Technologies program at the Branch Area Careers Center. For his OJT position, Elijah is an IT Helpdesk Assistant for the Coldwater Board of Public Utilities (CBPU). He is supervised by Sheila Puffenberger, Josh Smith and Craig Figueroa. Elijah’s duties include monitoring Helpdesk tickets, providing employee support, network management, and imaging computers. Elijah believes his OJT training has given him a better look at what kind of work is associated with IT and has solidified his work ethics. Elijah’s favorite part about his job is the type of work he does. He enjoys solving different problems every day and has a deep satisfaction when he fixes a problem. After high school graduation, his plans are to continue working in the IT field. He hopes to work full time in IT and take college classes. Elijah is a member of BACC’s Business Professionals of America (BPA) student organization. Last year at BPA Regionals, he placed 1st in PC Servicing and Troubleshooting. This qualified him to compete at BPA Nationals where he placed 7th. He plans to participate in BPA again this year. At his local high school, Elijah participates in band and art. In his spare time, Elijah enjoys making music, drumming, hiking, biking, kayaking, drawing, gaming and spending time with friends. Elijah’s parents are Mark and Sarah Quinn.
