HOSA Students Compete at the State Conference

The Health Science Program at the Branch Area Careers Center attended the HOSA: Future Health Professionals State Conference in Grand Rapids March 21-23, 2018. Of the 3,295 students that attended the HOSA State Conference, 25 students were from the Branch Area Careers Center. Students participated in leadership and skills events for two days in Grand Rapids. In an outstanding show of effort, the BACC earned 1 top 8 finish and 1 medal.
Top 8 finisher – Sebastian Gillette, 7th in Personal Care
Medalists – Allison Hochstedler, 1st in Nursing Assisting
Allison received a medal and qualified to attend the national competition to take place in Dallas, Texas June 27-30.
