Joshua Davies

Joshua Davies is a Pansophia Academy senior enrolled in the BACC’s Computer Networking Technologies program. Joshua’s OJT employer is Branch County Courthouse as an Information Technology Technician under the direction of Gabriel Pike and Matt Fosdick. Joshua is responsible for troubleshooting and repairing hardware and devices, updating and setting up devices, working in network closets, and assisting with any IT project. Joshua’s favorite part of his OJT job is servicing computers at remote locations. Joshua feels his OJT position has given him valuable hands-on experience, helping him learn what duties are expected when working in IT.
At the Branch Area Careers Center, Joshua is a member of Business Professionals of America (BPA). Last year, he was a member of the State of Michigan BPA Champion Website Design Team. His team competed at the BPA National Contest in Anaheim, California. This year, Joshua competed in IT related events and won awards at the Local and Regional Leadership contests. In March, he competed at the State BPA Leadership contest. In his spare time, Joshua playing video games. Joshua’s future plans are to pursue a college degree in Coding. Joshua is the son of Miranda and Steve Davies.
