Kendra Kling
Kendra Kling is a senior at Coldwater High School and enrolled in Business, Management & Marketing Technologies Program. Her OJT placement is the Corner Store Manager at the Branch Area Careers Center under the supervision of Brittany Wisman. As Manager, Kendra is responsible for training BMMT students, stocking and keeping track of inventory, preparing food items, cleaning and cash transactions.
Kendra believes her OJT training has helped her learn the business paperwork and book keeping required to run a business. She feels this is especially helpful because she hopes to operate her own business in the future. Her favorite part about her OJT job is training the students from the BMMT class.
Kendra’s future plans are to operate her own business for event planning and photography. Kendra enjoys arts and crafts, planning events, and photography in her spare time.
At the Branch Area Careers Center, Kendra is a two-year member of Business Professionals of America. Last year she placed first in Entrepreneurship at BPA Locals and fourth at BPA Regionals. At Coldwater High School, she is part of the 13th year program. Kendra is the daughter of Steve Kling and Leanne Tackett.
