Kevin Hall, Jr.

Kevin Hall, Jr. is a senior from Coldwater High School and attends the Branch Area Careers Center’s Welding Engineering Technology program.  His On-The-Job-Training placement is as a line welder with LaGrange Products under the supervision of John Dodson.  Kevin’s job duties include measuring, sealing and welding parts for pressure vessels.  He says his OJT job has really helped him improve his welding skills, learning about the trade, and time management.  Kevin’s favorite part of the job is working with people that he communicates well with.  Kevin plans to attend trade school after he graduates from high school.  After college, he plans to pursue a career as a union welder. At Coldwater High School, Kevin is a member of the Varsity Football, Wrestling and Track teams. He is also a member of Interact. At the Branch Area Careers Center, he is a member of Skills USA. Last year, he placed first in local competition and third at regional competition.  He also competed in the State MITES event and placed fourth in welding.  In his spare time, Kevin enjoys working on derby cars and spending time with family.  Kevin is the son of Kevin and Amber Hall.
