Krishten Brouse

Krishten Brouse is a senior from Coldwater High School and attends the Branch Area Careers Center’s Welding Engineering and Technology program. His On-The-Job-Training placement is with VIP Auto Body & Collision under the supervision of Scott Elkins. Krishten’s job is to assist with auto re-construction. He dismantles broken auto parts and fits, arranges and welds replacement parts. He then sands the parts and automotive body prior to painting.
He says his OJT job has really helped him by introducing him into the industry and preparing him for his career. Krishten feels that this experience has helped him mature and learn more about his trade. His favorite part of his job is learning more about welding and cars, while earning money. Krishten plans to continue working at VIP after graduation. He plans to get his Welding certifications and maybe purse a career on a welding rig.
At the BACC, he is a member of Skills USA. At Coldwater High School, Krishten participates in Varsity Football. In his spare time, Krishten likes to go to the gym and build racecars. Krishten is the son of Gerald and Erica Brouse.
