Mackenzie Rinehart

Mackenzie Rinehart is a senior at Bronson Jr/Sr High School and enrolled in the Health Science Program at the Branch Area Careers Center. Her OJT placement is a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) at Maple Lawn Medical Care Facility under the supervision of Lorraine Akers. As a CNA, Mackenzie is responsible for answering patient call lights, assisting with feeding and dressing, helping patients with daily activities, and assisting her patients with any needs.
Mackenzie believes her OJT training has helped her understand the importance of her job and how much responsibility there is in giving her patients proper care and assistance. Her favorite part about her OJT job is taking care of people and getting to know her residents.
Mackenzie’s future plans are to attend college to pursue a degree in Nursing. At the Branch Area Careers Center, Mackenzie is a two-year member of HOSA-Future Healthcare Professionals. She participated at HOSA State Leadership last year and won second place. In her spare time, Mackenzie enjoys spending time with friends and her boyfriend, sleeping, and watching Netflix. Mackenzie is the daughter of Don Rinehart and April Stallard.
