Michael Wendorf

Michael Wendorf is a senior from Quincy High School and attends the Branch Area Careers Center’s Environmental & Agri-Science program. His On-The-Job-Training placement is a Farm Hand with D&B Family Farm under the supervision of Derick Moore. Michael is responsible for feeding cattle and other livestock, operating farm equipment and assisting with regular maintenance on equipment. Michael’s favorite part of his job is the driving tractors and operating equipment. He feels his OJT position has helped him learn how to operate a farm and manage cattle. Michael’s future plans are to either drive semi-truck or he is considering exploring a career as a crop duster. At Quincy High School, Michael plays football and baseball. At the BACC, Michael is an FFA member and has earned his Greenhand and Outstanding Junior degrees. In his spare time, he enjoys hunting and fishing. Michael is the son of Corinna Cope and Andy Crandall.
