Mishelle Mata

Mishelle Mata is a senior attending Coldwater High School and is enrolled in the Business, Management, Marketing & Technology program at the Branch Area Careers Center. Mishelle is employed through the On-The-Job Training program at Biggby Coffee as a Barista. Her supervisor is Teddy Foote. Her job duties include prepping and serving beverages, taking customer orders, providing excellent customer service and communication with customers and co-workers. Mishelle feels her OJT placement has helped her create a new and needed balance between work and school. Mishelle feels the best part of her OJT training is meeting new people and being able to work mornings to establish her good balance with work and school. She is a member of Business Professionals of America at the BACC. She also participated in the Young Moguls event with her Great Lakes beverage cups as her showcase. Her plan after graduation is to pursue her real estate license. Ultimately, she would like to attend college and major in Marketing. In her spare time, Mishelle enjoys spending time with her family and friends. Mishelle is the daughter of Jose Chavez and Maricela Hernandez Chavez.
