Nash Fitton

Nash Fitton is a senior from Quincy High School and attends the Branch Area Careers
Center’s Ag, Food & Natural Resources program. His On-The-Job-Training placement is
a Lawn Care Technician with Area One Lawn Care. His supervisor is the Owner, Lance
Wiser. Nash is responsible for all yard care including mowing, trimming, edging
sidewalks and blowing leaves. He also landscapes by planting trees, bushes and various
plants. He also runs excavation equipment. Nash’s favorite part of his job is the hands-on
training and learning more about the industry. He feels his OJT training has helped him
understand the importance of hard work, communication and responsibility. At the
BACC, Nash earned his FFA Greenhand, and Chapter degrees. In FFA, he competed in
poultry improvement and environmental skills contest at the State Leadership
Conference. At Quincy High School, Nash is a member of the varsity football and
basketball teams. In his spare time, he enjoys working on his truck, hanging out with
friends and family and working with his dad in his construction business. Nash’s future
plans are to pursue a HVAC certificate from UNHO. Ultimately, he would like work for
Fitton & Son’s Builders. Nash is the son of Tjay and Stew Fitton.
