Samuel Forrister

Samuel Forrister is a senior from Coldwater High School and attends the Branch Area
Careers Center’s Business, Management, and Marketing Technology program. His On-
The-Job-Training placement is with City Glass under the supervision of James Forrister.
As an Installer/Builder, Sammy’s job duties include building screens, window frames and
doors. He also cuts glass for windows and doors and completes the installation. He says
his OJT job has really helped him realize the type of skills he is good at in his work place.
He has also learned the type of work he may look for in future jobs. His favorite part of
his job is learning new things from his co-workers. He also enjoys that he is working
hard, and at the same time laughing and having fun with a great group of people. Sammy
is a member of Business Professionals of America (BPA) at the BACC. Last year, he
competed at the local and regional levels. This year, his Website Development Team will
be competing at BPA Regionals in December. In his spare time, Sammy enjoys listening
and creating music, hanging out with his friends, and doing outdoor physical activity of
some sort. After high school graduation, Sammy plans to attend college to study business
and the music industry. His goal is to make a career in business and music. Sammy is the
son of James and Debra Forrister.
