Each is designed to assist students in making informed career decisions.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>Expand the Boxes below to see all of our placement options<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<h4 tabindex=\"0\">Job Shadow Experience<\/h4>\n\t\t\t<ul>\n<li>1-2 Days<\/li>\n<li>Non-paid<\/li>\n<li>Must be during school time<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<h4 tabindex=\"0\">Work Experience Program<\/h4>\n\t\t\t<ul>\n<li>Mostly un-paid<\/li>\n<li>3-18 days in length &#8211; 45 total hours per work site<\/li>\n<li>Student must attend BACC program 1 day per week<\/li>\n<li>Must be during school time<\/li>\n<li>Work site must have Worker&#8217;s Compensation Insurance<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<h4 tabindex=\"0\">On the Job Training (OJT)<\/h4>\n\t\t\t<ul>\n<li>Be at least 16 years old at the time of employment.<\/li>\n<li>Must have completed 3-9 week sessions in technical course.<\/li>\n<li>Be available to work a minimum of 15 hours a week.<\/li>\n<li>Be willing to work weekdays, holidays, and \/ or during school vacations.<\/li>\n<li>Have reliable transportation.<\/li>\n<li>Must have regular and prompt attendance at school and work.<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrate aptitude and interest in a specific occupational area.<\/li>\n<li>Must have parent\/ guardian consent.<\/li>\n<li>Attend related class once each week.<\/li>\n<li>Must attend OJT Banquet in May.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Placement and On the Job Training Mrs. Hard OT\/Placement Coordinator The BACC offers a number of placement opportunities for students.
