Professional electricians judge the contestants on the basis of general workmanship, accuracy of layout and installation, adherence to National Electrical Code, and safety. The test consists of two parts\u2013conduit bending and the simulated wiring of two or more rooms of a typical residence. The wiring will be judged according to standard residential wiring practices and the\u00a0most recent\u00a0edition of the National Electrical Code.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Industrial Motor Control<\/p>\n<p><\/strong><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/branch-isd.org\/bacc\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2016\/11\/Competition-225x300-225x300.jpg?resize=135%2C180\" alt=\"competition-225x300\" width=\"135\" height=\"180\" \/>Industrial Motor Control \u2013 Students will demonstrate their knowledge of electrical principles, equipment, and industry standards as they relate to electrical wiring and motor control systems.
