Erica Haney is a senior attending Coldwater High School and is enrolled in the Business, Management, Marketing & Technology program at the Branch Area Careers Center.\u00a0 Erica is employed through the On-The-Job Training program at Century Bank & Trust as a Teller. Her supervisors are Ann Strong and Tiffany Moore.\u00a0 Her job duties include maintaining and balancing a cash drawer throughout the day, assisting customers with banking needs, scanning all transactions, checking night drop, and completing holds.<\/p>\n
Erica feels her OJT placement has helped her become more approachable. She feels comfortable talking to people she doesn\u2019t know and feels more social.\u00a0 Erica\u2019s favorite \u00a0part of her OJT training is listening and talking to older customers. She is the Vice-President of Business Professionals of America (BPA) at the BACC. Last year, Erica competed at BPA Locals and Regionals in Job Interview and Spreadsheets. She plans to compete again this year.<\/p>\n
At Coldwater High School, Erica is a member of Youth in Government and Varsity Soccer.\u00a0 Her plan after graduation is to continue in the Kellogg Community College 13th<\/sup> year program and then transfer to a university. Erica is undecided on her career. In her spare time, Erica enjoys playing soccer and spending time with her friends.
