Blake Burkhart is a senior from Quincy High School and attends the Branch Area Careers Center\u2019s Environmental & Agri-Science program.\u00a0 His On-The-Job-Training placement is an Ag Technician student with GreenMark Equipment under the supervision of Aaron Clark.\u00a0 Blake cleans the shop, delivers and picks up products, assists with changing oil and filters, as well as fixing equipment.\u00a0 He says his OJT job has shown him what he wants to pursue after high school. Blake\u2019s favorite part of his job is being able to meet new people and work on equipment. Blake\u2019s future plans are to attend the John Deere Tech program. Eventually, he plans on taking over his family farm.<\/p>\n
At Quincy High School, Blake is a member of the Football and Baseball teams. He is also a 4-H member. \u00a0At the BACC, Blake is an FFA member and has earned his Greenhand, Chapter and Outstanding Junior degrees. In his spare time, he enjoys playing football and baseball, riding his 4-wheeler and spending time with his family. \u00a0\u00a0Blake is the son of Missie Pearson and Kevin Burkhart.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
