Kevin Hall, Jr. is a senior from Coldwater High School and attends the Branch Area Careers Center\u2019s Welding Engineering Technology program.\u00a0 His On-The-Job-Training placement is as a line welder with LaGrange Products under the supervision of John Dodson.\u00a0 Kevin\u2019s job duties include measuring, sealing and welding parts for pressure vessels.\u00a0 He says his OJT job has really helped him improve his welding skills, learning about the trade, and time management. \u00a0Kevin\u2019s favorite part of the job is working with people that he communicates well with.\u00a0 Kevin plans to attend trade school after he graduates from high school.\u00a0 After college, he plans to pursue a career as a union welder. At Coldwater High School, Kevin is a member of the Varsity Football, Wrestling and Track teams. He is also a member of Interact. At the Branch Area Careers Center, he is a member of Skills USA. Last year, he placed first in local competition and third at regional competition.\u00a0 He also competed in the State MITES event and placed fourth in welding. \u00a0In his spare time, Kevin enjoys working on derby cars and spending time with family. \u00a0Kevin is the son of Kevin and Amber Hall.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
