Rachel Pickford is a senior at Quincy High School and enrolled in Culinary Arts & Hospitality Management Program at the BACC. Her OJT placement is at Tropical Smoothie Caf\u00e9 as a shift lead under the supervision of Katie Dobbs.
\nRachel is responsible for taking customer orders with excellent customer service, preparing and distributing customer orders, completing all sanitation and re-stocking chores, and opening and closing duties. Rachel believes her OJT training has taught her how to interact with people and has prepared her for the future. Her favorite part about the position is being independent and working during school hours.
\nAt the Branch Area Careers Center, Rachel is a member of Skills USA and ProStart. Her future plans are to attend college and pursue a degree in Early Education. In her spare time, Rachel enjoys spending time with family and friends and watching Quincy High School wrestling.
