Taylor West is a senior at Coldwater High School and enrolled in Business, Management &
\nMarketing Technologies Program. Her OJT placement is a Receptionist at Rainbow Motor Sales
\nunder the supervision of Michele Streets and Melissa Hanna. As Receptionist, Taylor is
\nresponsible for greeting customers, answering phone calls, assisting with closing paperwork, and
\nassisting with office decoration and maintenance.
\nTaylor believes her OJT training has helped her improve her customer service and talking with
\npeople on the phone. Her favorite part about her OJT job is the great people that she works
\nwith. She believes that the staff pushes each other to stay motivated and are always very kind.
\nTaylor\u2019s future plans are to attend Central Michigan University to study Finance and Business.
\nAfter college, she plans on becoming a financial advisor at Edward Jones. Taylor enjoys being
\noutdoors, camping, hanging out with her dogs and spending time with her family in her spare
\ntime.
\nAt the Branch Area Careers Center, Taylor is a two-year member of Business Professionals of
\nAmerica (BPA). She competed at the local, Regional and State Leadership Conference in the
\nFundamentals of Spreadsheets and Presentation Team events. She also won the Ambassador
\nTorch award and competed at the BPA National Leadership Conference in Anaheim, California.
\nTaylor competed in the BACC Young Mogul contest with her B & T Engraving business. Taylor is
